Caregivers Alberta

Easing the physical and emotional pressure on caregivers.

Caregiving can be a rewarding experience. It can also be exhausting, stressful, complex, demanding, frustrating, and heartbreaking. The physical and emotional demands on a caregiver are often overwhelming. For years, Caregivers Alberta has addressed these needs through a supportive multi-session program called COMPASS for Caregivers.

Turning in-person caregiver workshops into online workshops.

With funding from the Petro-Canada CareMakers Foundation, Caregivers Alberta will be able to turn their award-winning in-person program into an online digital course. This course provides caregivers with the skills and strategies they need to take care of themselves and improve their ability to take care of loved ones. The new online course will be accessible across Canada, giving more caregivers access to the support they need.

We are extremely proud to provide the funding needed to create an online version of this award-winning program.
